WASHINGTON  — Americans for Clean Aviation Fuels (ACAF) congratulates President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans on the final passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which includes the Clean Fuel Production Credit (45Z) as part of the legislation's America First energy provisions. This provision has broad support from industry leaders across the farming, energy, transportation and manufacturing sectors, and is a key first step toward unleashing the full potential of a domestic clean aviation fuel economy in the United States.

ACAF Executive Director Jeff Grappone released the following statement:

We congratulate President Trump and congressional Republicans on final passage of this landmark legislation, and we are grateful for the inclusion of provisions to provide longer-term certainty for the clean fuels market. Growing domestic SAF production is expected to drive substantial job creation and economic activity in heartland communities. The entire SAF value chain – including the farming, aviation, manufacturing, oil and gas, and biofuels sectors – will continue to work together to ensure that clean aviation fuels strengthen American energy independence and security."
